Synopsis

With their dream within grasp, Johnny and Lola make an offer on Hey Joe--only to discover that a million dollars doesn't go as far as they'd thought. As the price of the bar rises and expenses pile up, Lola begins to question what she really wants.

Lola knows she can solve their problems with one phone call, but she may risk going too far to have it all. Because she's not dealing with just anyone--she's dealing with a master. For Beau Olivier, there's no such thing as too far. There is only conquest. There is only victory.

Beau and Lola already had their night together, but it wasn't enough. They need more. And the more they need. The more they have to lose.

Review

Whoa! So many things happened in this installment that I totally didn't see coming. I love that part of reading books, when they totally take you by surprise. Lola and Johnny are way in over their head with this whole bar business stuff. They really didn't put much thought into what they were getting themselves into and now they find themselves in a tough spot. Not to mention, their relationship is on rocky grounds with all the tension and guilt weighing them down.

Beau really did a number on Lola and now she finds herself more confused than ever. Beau is a planner. But what happens when your doesn't go the way you expected?

Tension is building. Relationships are crumbling. Hearts are being broken.

Can Lola and Johnny's relationship survive this whole ordeal? Was this whole sacrifice worth it? And what will Beau do next?

Ugh! Cliffhanger and so many questions!!! I need the next installment ASAP! I was cursing Jessica Hawkins towards the end. She totally had me so consumed and now I'm left craving more. Jessica does a great job keeping your attention throughout and really sucking you in. I can't wait to see what she has in store next.
