**Note from author: Gabe and Josh have a prequel that was previously published in the Nut Case Love Anthology. That book is no longer for sale and their story has been returned to me. Review
3.5 - 4 Stars

I would say this book falls between a 3.5 - 4 stars! It was quite frustrating at time because Josh was a little over the top with his mood swings and back and forth the way he treated Gabe and Gabe just takes it. Once Josh gets over himself then the story becomes more entertaining. I did love Josh's sass and the patience Gabe had with him. As for the mystery part of it, I didn't really enjoy that aspect but it was still entertaining overall. I definitely want to finish off this series because Josh and Gabe are starting to grow on me and I want to see their HEA!

OMG! It just gets better and better. I'm so in love with this author. Aimee Nicole Walker has got me HOOKED!!! The anticipation of getting to the conclusion of these investigations have got me biting my thumb nail and bouncing my knee like "WHO DONE IT?!" LOL.
I love the way this author keeps you guessing at every turn. The mystery and suspense alone will have you consumed. Add in the hottness and cuteness that is Josh and Gabe and she has me totally sucked in. I love stories that have relationships that are ever growing and the love between Josh and Gabe just gets stronger and stronger. They're just so fucking sexy and adorable at the same time. That Josh! I'm so in love with Josh and need someone like him as my best friend. :)

Not only do you get sucked in by the MC's but the secondary characters will have you intrigued as well. Aimee Nicole Walker is definitely becoming one of my favorite MM authors. Look out cause I'm going on an Aimee Nicole Walker binge read.

Review

There are just no words that I can say that will do this book or this author any justice. This book was so captivating and dark and all-consuming and scorching fucking HOTT and I can go on and on and on.

This is the first book I have read from Margaret McHeyzer and she totally fucking blew me away. First of all, her writing style, creativity and delivery of this story is fucking impeccable and mesmerizing. Yes, this is not the first book ever written about sexual abuse as a young child, but good lawd, this authors ability to draw you in and make you feel every single ounce of fucking raw emotion and turmoil that Ryan went through is awe-inspiring, riveting and fascinating. I cried, broke down, my heart hurt for this man. This man that is so damaged and seeks freedom of his demons.

My gosh and these characters!!! Stella is just WOW! There were moments in the story where I just wanted to stand and fucking applaud her. And Mason, oh Mason! There are definitely scenes where I had to take a break to catch my bearings and go for a change of underwear because holy hot motherfuckin damn!!!

I ached. My body ached all over from all the emotions that came pouring out of these pages. I devoured it. I savored it. I fucking LOVED it!! An intense emotional read that yes, has some triggers that may not be for everyone but also hot as fuck panty soaking sex scenes. A definite re-read and a highly recommend must read.

There's something about the written word that's pure magic.

Possibly it's the fact that there are 26 letters in the English alphabet, and they can create something so beautiful or so empowering that they're able to change our lives.

How important is it that we break suit and stretch our minds?

I like to think of myself as 'unique'. My stories aren't for everyone, and sometimes I may push what you believe to be 'normal'.

Normal is subjective.

Release Blitz: Excerpt + ARC Review + Giveaway - Dance with Destiny by Sloan Johnson

Title: Dance with Destiny
Author: Sloan Johnson
Genre: Adult, Gay Romance
Release Date: December 18, 2014

Tony DeLuca has to get to New York, nor’easter be damned. His older sister is getting married and it won’t matter to her if the entire east coast is shut down if it means she’s short a groomsman. She’s the only reason he’s willing to make the trip home to face a father who’s never forgiven him for wasting a perfectly good degree to become a firefighter. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to everything about Tony that his father will never accept.

Dominic Tricoli’s living his dream. He’s spent the past few years working to mesh his business degree and love of the outdoors into a thriving company, providing team building retreats for some of the country’s largest corporations. Unfortunately, there’s a price to pay for happiness, and having someone to come home to at night is the sacrifice Dominic made.

When Dominic overhears Tony’s plight, he’s drawn to help the man get to New York City. Little does Dominic know that one kind gesture will awaken a side of him he’s ignored for far too long. Against his better judgment, he gives in to his desires and Tony’s advances. Just for the night.

When destiny steps in, giving him another chance with the charismatic man who saved his hide, Tony’s willing to do whatever it takes to earn Dominic’s forgiveness and understanding. There may not be forever, but Tony’s determined to enjoy every single minute he’s given with Dominic.

You can’t fight fate. Whatever’s meant to happen, eventually will.

This was a sexy story that most definitely had my emotions all over the place. Dom and Tony’s journey is a true love story. Two strangers, a chance meeting, one good deed and love……

Sloan Johnson did a great job conveying the emotions in this story. I got all the feels reading this book. I was happy, sad, angry, and heartbroken and back to being angry and sad…. It was such an emotional roller-coaster. My heart definitely melted with this story.

I loved Dom and Tony. Tony was definitely the more aggressive alpha in the relationship and it absolutely suits him. Dom is the responsible and more tender-hearted guy. Both men have their own issues to deal with. And both stories had my heart clenching.

As much as I would have loved to give this book 5 Stars, because it truly was a beautiful love story, but the ending….. GAH, that ending!  I was left with questions and thinking ‘No, it can’t be over yet?!’ But..but…so yeah, I just felt that their story was left slightly unfinished and I was a little frustrated. However, it could be that I just wasn’t ready for it to end. I wanted so much more Tony and Dom. I did enjoy this story and definitely recommend reading this beautiful story about fate, destiny and love. Great job Sloan Johnson!

So much for never seeing one another again. Had I known that I was going to see Dominic this weekend, I might have tried harder to make things right with him Thursday night. If I’d realized the Cara he mentioned was marrying his college roommate was my sister, who I’ve always called Caroline, I wouldn’t have touched him no matter how much I wanted to. Actually, that’s probably not true, because he’s damn fine and I’m not stupid enough to pass up an opportunity when it presents itself. But I definitely wouldn’t have walked away until I knew that neither of us had any regrets.
I trip over my feet as I follow the rest of the groomsmen into the front of the cathedral, my attention focused on the man sitting next to Mr. and Mrs. Rossi, looking like he’s just been scolded.
Dominic was gorgeous the night we met, but now, he’s downright breathtaking. I take my place in line and, because God has a twisted sense of humor, I’m going to be stuck knowing that Dominic is directly behind me for the next hour and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it.
As we wait for what seems like forever for all of Caroline’s bridesmaids to make the mile-long trek to the front of the cathedral, I try to catch Kennedy’s attention. Thursday night, I told her everything. After telling her about the sexy-as-fuck scene in the truck, I went on to tell her how much it annoyed me that Dominic and I parted on bad terms. She agreed with Dominic that there was no need to feel anything since we’d never see one another again. When Kennedy finally makes eye contact with me, I nod ever so slightly to my left and watch as her eyes threaten to bug out of her head. “Oh, my God. Is that him?” she mouths. I nod subtly. “Are you going to talk to him?” she asks. I shrug, and catch the attention of my older brother, who is standing directly behind me.
“Anthony, quit talking to your girlfriend,” he hisses. “Caroline needs you to make her the priority for the next hour, then you can run off and find a quiet corner to do whatever it is the two of you do.” I close my eyes tightly before glancing at Dominic, finally realizing that he probably thinks the same thing I’ve led most of my family to believe all these years. The urge to elbow Peter in the gut to show him exactly what I think of his comment is strong, but I’ve already made enough of a scene. If he noticed, I’m sure other people have as well. And sure enough, Dominic is now glaring at me. He looks across the aisle and his entire body stiffens when he notices Kennedy sitting with my family. I need this wedding to hurry the fuck up so I can get a drink.

The music changes and everyone stands and turns to see Caroline and our father walking down the aisle. I take the opportunity to admire the way Dominic’s suit jacket hangs off his shoulders. The subtle pinstripes act as beacons, drawing my eye down to his narrow hips, and suddenly I’m standing in the cathedral with a semi, thinking about the tight ass beneath those perfectly tailored pants. Go straight to Hell. Do not pass Go, do not collect two-hundred dollars.

Sloan Johnson is a big city girl trapped in a country girl’s life. While she longs for the hustle and bustle of New York City or Las Vegas, she hasn’t yet figured out how to sit on the deck with her morning coffee, watching the deer and wild turkeys in the fields while surrounded by concrete and glass.

When she was three, her parents received their first call from the principal asking them to pick her up from school. Apparently, if you aren’t enrolled, you can’t attend classes, even in Kindergarten. The next week, she was in preschool and started plotting her first story soon after.
Later in life, her parents needed to do something to help their socially awkward, uncoordinated child come out of her shell and figured there was no better place than a bar on Wednesday nights. It’s a good thing they did because this is where she found her love of reading and writing. Who needs socialization when you can sit alone in your bedroom with a good book?

Now, Sloan is a tattooed mom with a mohawk and two kids. She’s been kicked out of the PTA in two school districts and is no longer asked to help with fundraisers because she’s been known to lose herself with a good book and forget she has somewhere to be.

Review - Beats (Hard Rock Harlots #2) by Kendall Grey

WARNING: BEATS is specially formulated for horn dogs, porn oglers, smut peddlers, BDSM junkies, M/M and M/M/F addicts, DP dabblers, and lovers of A2M backdoor sexy times. If you don’t fall into these categories, can’t stomach hot man-on-man action, or if you have no idea what the above acronyms mean, please back away from BEATS now. This isn’t the book you’re looking for. Failure to heed this warning could inadvertently throw unauthorized users into a persistent vegetative state, or at the very least, require administration of a defibrillator to the chest and/or groin area. Nobody wants that.

For months, shy drummer Jinx Hardwick has been silently crushing on her tall, dark, and scary bandmate, Toombs Badcock. Drawn to his frightening ink and scars, she yearns to uncover the shadowy secrets lurking behind his silver eyes, but Jinx is too intimidated to even look at him, let alone talk to him. When she stumbles upon Toombs and their manipulative lead guitarist Rax in a compromising position, Jinx realizes her chances of winning Toombs’s heart aren’t just a long shot—they’re nonexistent. To make matters worse, Jinx’s family needs her at home. She’s about to back away from it all—Toombs, the band, her dreams of fame and fortune—when Rax makes her an offer she can’t refuse: a no-holds-barred night alone with Toombs. There’s one small catch. She has to go through Rax to get it.

AHHHH! What a phenomenal read!! Shit, I needed a cold shower after reading this one. I feel oh so dirty and oh so hot and bothered, yet oh so fuckin satisfied. Mrs. Grey hands down writes the raunchiest and kinkiest sex scenes I have read to date.

Jinx and Toombs’ story was a bit more of an emotional read on top of all the amazing sexiness. I fucking LOVED it! I swear this series has totally consumed me. I read this in one sitting. I didn’t/couldn’t put it down. It’s just that fucking phenomenal. Totally sucks you in page by page. Kendall Grey is a writing genius. Her ability to portray these characters personalities and sexual drive and deliver an absolutely flawless story is astounding.

These characters will surely stick with me. This series will definitely be one of my go-to re-reads. It’s fucking addicting. The story and these characters have me craving more and more of them. And Rax….. oh Rax!!! His story is next and I cannot wait to dive into that one.
