I'm having a total love/hate relationship with this book. I'm so torn because I had such high expectations for this one. I enjoyed the banter between Ethan and Vada. They definitely were an interesting pair and the sex scenes were absolutely amazing!! 

I love Ethan. These authors did a great job on his character from his heartbreaking past to his cocky personality. Their is just something so damn sexy and sweet about him that it's hard not to fall in love with him. 

Then there's Vada. So this is where I'm torn. I like that she's sassy and gives as good as she gets. She calls Ethan out on his shit and keeps up with the banter. Ugh, but I'm annoyed at how certain things were played out. I'm all for insta-love and insecurities coming into play and all that but I'm not a fan of how Vada handles the situation with Ethan. 

It's hard to explain without giving away spoilers but to sum it up, the beginning of the book was hot as hell. The middle pissed me off but I kept on because I had to see it out for poor Ethan and I absolutely loved the end. 

Overall, Brooke Cumberland and Lyra Parish deliver a fun and sexy read.

OMG!!! I love love LOVED this book!!!! I’ve read this author’s work before and Iove it but I have yet to read this softer side that everyone seems to be raving about. And I get. I totally get why all the rave, because this book had me loving it more and more with the turn of every page. 

GAH! I’m so giddy at how much I loved this. My heart feels so content. I had all the feels. I laughed, smiled, shed a tear or two and I was absolutely head over heels swoony over Malcolm. I love this lighter side to Aleatha. Don’t get me wrong I love her dark side as well but this was just as phenomenal. 

I felt so much more connected to this story as I related to Amanda. While the circumstances are different, I understood the struggles of being a single mother and that hesitancy and guilt to be enjoying yourself when it should be all about your kids. I got it. I understood it. I felt it. Yet, I think that’s what made me love and swoon over Malcolm that much more. He was absolutely perfect. So patient, yet giving her that push so she didn’t fall out of his grasps. He made her feel wanted and special. *sigh* Yeah, this author nailed it! This was so beautifully written with such a great strong set of exceptional characters and an amazing story line. I devoured this in one go and absolutely loved it!

Wow! This book had me crying from the start.  Great job, Amanda Lance!! This book was filled with so much emotion I thought my heart was going to jump out of my chest.

I love Charlotte and Williams’ characteristics. Yes, Charlotte was depressed and she was without a doubt going to commit suicide. She knew where her mind was at. She knew she didn’t want to be in pain anymore. But what’s left for someone who feels absolutely nothing?

William just couldn’t walk away. He couldn’t leave her on that overpass. Mr. Wild streak wasn’t afraid to show his sensitive and caring side. And he is totally swoon worthy. Very entertaining and a down right bad boy with a heart.

This book consumed me from the very beginning and I could not bring myself to put it down. The way Amanda was able to express the darkness within Charlotte was captivating. The emotions pour through the pages and seep into your very soul. I cried, I sob, I laughed, I snickered and I felt my heart break and then mended back together bit by bit.

This was a beautifully developed story, had a fantastic story line and amazing characters. This is definitely a book you wouldn’t want to miss out on.
