Series Wrap-Up Review
This is one of those series that will always stay with you.
Not only do you become completely addicted but walk away looking at life a
little differently. There is always something extraordinary uplifting about a
book when it can leave you with a few words of wisdom. The Wishes Series is
definitely one of those for me.
In each book these characters face certain struggles. And
they are struggles that anyone can relate to. There’s the struggle of wanting
to belong and finding your place and value in the world. We all struggle with
insecurities and trying to overcome them. The struggles of love, trust and
looking for the positives in life and not put so much thought on the what-ifs
or the negatives.
If it’s one thing that I walk away with from this series is
that you should always stay true to yourself and follow your heart. Don’t ever
let anyone put you down or make you feel inadequate for what you believe in.
G.J. Walker-Smith did an outstanding job on this series. Every
character was very well written and truly brought this story to life. She
brought such great emotion and true love in each book.
You will laugh. You will cry. Your heart will break. Your
heart will heal. You will at some point or another say “W.T.F.!!!” But at the
end of the series, you will sure to be saying “I LOVE IT!!”
And I absolutely do! I loved every book in this series and
the more you read the more you will fall in love with these characters and the
more you want from them.
Book 5, Star Promise, does not come out until December and
it’s more of Charli and Adam. I’m not sure I can wait that long. I’m already
having withdrawals. I’ve probably read the synopsis for it a thousand times
already. It’s almost like if I keep re-reading it, it will miraculously tell me
more about the book and what is going to happen next in Charli and Adam’s
journey.
I mean have you read the synopsis?
How can you not want to know? I’m
dying over here!!
*pacing back and forth, chewing on thumb nail and pulling
at my hair with my free hand*
I need to know!
I want more!
I need more fairyology!
I need
more magic!
I need more Blakes and Décaries!
I completely and utterly enjoyed these books and highly
recommend that you take a chance on this series. They truly are a beautifully
written love story!
“It's been said that Everyone has a story worth writing. I
absolutely believe it.We just need to learn which parts of life we're supposed
to forget about and move on from, and which we're meant to carry with us. Inspiration,
like magic, happens every day. You just have to look for it.” ~ G.J.
