And she does it again!!!!! Whoa! I cannot tell you how much I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. So heartbreaking and captivating. What an emotional rollercoaster.

Dealing with so many obstacles, grief, heartbreak, addiction.....

Lennon and Rain are madly in love with each other but what happens when obstacles and loss are thrown in the way. It becomes too much to handle for them both. One shuts down and the other turn to drugs to cope with it all. Throw in a three month tour with an ex-girlfriend and things might get a little tempting. Is love enough to save their marriage? Will Lennon and Rain survive?

This was truly a great story and I am so glad I had the opportunity to read this entire series. I cried so hard reading this book. It was tragically beautiful. True love is a strong bond, sometimes you lose yourself along the way when dealing with grief but when you know it down to your bones that you found your 'one' then the struggle and the fight are worth it.

Every time I hear this song, I think of this book and how truly heartbroken I felt for Lennon and Rain suffering through what every parent fears.

I shackle both of Rain’s wrists above her head, so she cannot escape.
She rasps but doesn’t struggle against my bond. Those desert-blue-sky eyes smolder and lock onto mine.

I slam my groin into her, my cock hard and throbbing for her. “Why are you here? To torture me?”

She blinks at me. “Huh?”

“You look so fucking hot. Why would you come here? Why would you hurt me like this?” I smash my lips into hers, hungry and hot, and she fiercely kisses me back. Her tongue collides with mine. “Please don’t do this to me, Rain.” Did she change her mind? It doesn’t seem likely from the finality of the no-contest clause.

Her chin drops to her chest, and her gaze lands on the fresh bruising on the inside of my arm. Without breaking my tight grip, she gently kisses the mark. I wrestle my arm free and hide my shame behind my back while the other pins her against the wall. “I’ve only done it a couple times.” It’s a lie. I’ve shot up a half-dozen times since I got the papers. “I’m not an addict.”

“Please stop.” Her eyes shine with pain for me. “I love you, and I want more children…with you and only you.”

“What?” What is she saying? I avert my eyes and my disgrace. “It’s no longer your concern. I’ve got this under control.”

“You don’t.” One hand wriggles free, her fingers trace my parched lips, and my cock aches for her. “What are you doing with these girls? Do you know how much it hurts me? And the drugs. That’s far worse.”

*~* Synopsis *~*

Lennon spends most of his time raising his sister Currie while skating through his senior year of high school. He prefers groupies with no-strings attached but finds himself attracted to Jinx, the straight-A student in his choir—a girl way out of his league.

Jinx is not the perfect person her classmates think she is. She conceals the black truth about herself, even from her friends. She won’t admit to them that she screwed up big time, losing what she once held most precious.

Neither Jinx nor Lennon trusts the opposite sex. When she joins Lennon’s band, she discovers that he is not the bad boy every girl thinks he is and that he just might be the one.

This is my first time reading anything from Chris Myers and I am absolutely glad that I had the opportunity to participate in her Book Tour and was introduced to this trilogy. I am truly blown away. I was intrigued from beginning to end. Such an amazing beautifully written story.

I instantly had a soft spot for Lennon. I mean, my gosh...he's a baby raising a baby and holding so much responsibility and so much older than his age. He's 17 years old raising his little sister and taking on the parental responsibilities and duties that come along with it. How can you not have a soft spot for a young man who is so caring, loving and just simply amazing when it comes to the care of his little sister, Currie.

Dealing with a heartless mother and a father that was an addict and never having a childhood will definitely take its toll on a young kid. But Lennon steps up to the plate and takes over where his parents have failed. Never experiencing what it's like having a normal childhood.

Lennon has a reputation as being a player. Never wanting to pursue a relationship or commitment. That all starts to change when he sees Jinx and gets to know her better. She has her own baggage, but when needed she's there for him in a supporting way.

Great supporting characters. Emotional and Heartbreaking. You will not want to miss out on this one. This is a definite MUST read.

Lennon’s Rain (Lennon’s Girl #2)

*~* Synopsis *~*

Sometimes in love, you choose wrong…

Eight years ago, Lennon lost his heart to Rain, and suddenly she’s back, all grown up and sexy as hell. At a sorority party, he convinces himself that outbidding every other guy for a body shot from Rain is for charity. But he knows better. He doesn’t want any guy, except him, tarnishing the memory of the little girl he proposed to in fifth grade.

Jinx loves Lennon and is past ready for him to make his move. With his sexual prowess, she worries why he hasn’t made any advances. She fears she is losing him, and the only way to keep him is to overcome her past and give him what he desires.

Rain knows Lennon is trouble. If she couldn’t say no to the gangly boy asking her to skateboard off some roof, how will she refuse Lennon’s seductive powers now that he is a man? Rain has many reasons to resist his charm. He has a girlfriend, he’s moving to LA with her, and Rain has no intention to march in the long parade of Lennon Tyler conquests.

Now, Lennon must choose. Someone has to lose, and that person could be him.

*~* Review *~*

Wow...It just gets better and better!! This book is definitely much hotter than the first.

Lennon and Jinx is officially a couple. But what happens when a long lost love re-enters your life after 8 years. Jinx is still struggling with her attack and can’t bring herself to sleep with Lennon. All the while, Lennon has been nothing but patient with her but his sexual frustration isn’t helping.

Lennon sees Rain and instantly grows possessive over her. He was in love with her, she was his best friend. But he harbors the feelings of being abandoned by her after she left without saying as much as a goodbye after he declared his love for her and proposed in front of everyone when he was just 10 years old. But their older now and his feelings and attraction for her are so much more.

Rain tried to stay in the background, avoiding Lennon at all cost. Until that one night at a college party. The attraction is still their but she struggles with her feelings, especially considering his reputation and the fact that he has a girlfriend.

This book just got ten times better. The attraction and chemistry between Lennon and Rain are off the charts. She wants to fight it and hide behind her walls and he wants to dive in head first. However, he needs to figure out what is happening between him and Jinx.

I liked this book as it shows them growing and their characters take shape and develop. Lennon still the caring responsible brother but now he wants more. He wants love, he wants his own family and now he has to deal with doing what is best for his sister.

The bands are going on tour how will Lennon and Rain manage with their feelings and will Jinx be a constant obstacle? This book follows the love triangle and some very steamy and passionate scenes. Great addition to the series and I couldn’t wait to jump right into the next book.
