Seeing as she was so lazy and also afraid people would think she was bonkers, she didn't write down any of the story lines that played out in her daydreams. During her high school years, she took pen to paper and filled more notebooks than she is proud of with angsty, depressing, self-depreciating poetry. This led to her writing down more things: notes, ideas, character bios, plot twists that had no plot yet to twist. After years of cleaning up her own scraps of imagination with nothing solid to hold on to, she sat down and wrote the story that had been in her head the longest. Fueled by coffee and her unwavering and perfectly normal devotion to Dave Grohl, she discovered a writer living inside of her. Review

This was a great read. Five Stars!! Author Heidi R Hutchinson once again brings us a beautiful, genuine love story with a touch of drama and such amazing characters that you just absolutely can't help but fall in love with. 

I had already fallen in love with Shane in Book 2 because he matured and changed so much since Book 1, where I very much disliked him, but WOW…… I’m lovin him even more.

Shane is heartbroken. He let the woman he fell in love with go because he knew it was the right thing to do. He tries to hide his pain and his plan is to throw himself into work. He sure wasn’t expecting this sassy chic determined to ‘fix’ him to get under his skin.

Greta sets her sights on Shane. She sees the sadness in him and wants to help him move on and bring back happiness into his life. This is what she does. This is her talent. She’s determined to make Shane her next ‘fixer upper’. She wasn’t expecting for him to break through the boundaries she thought were impenetrable.

I love this series! Although you can read each one as a standalone, I highly recommend reading them in order. In Book 1, you get introduced to each character and you get a feel for them. You get the whole effect of how they are connected to each other and where the characters stand throughout. We first meet Shane in Book 1, and it wasn’t a very good impression. Book 2, he totally flipped the switch and my heart thawed for him, falling more and more. In this story, he steals a huge piece of my heart. He is so sweet, caring and tender.

Shane and Greta were made for each other. Greta was exactly what Shane needed in his life. She was exuberant and brought so much life back into Shane when he thought he was doomed to darkness. Their friendship develops over the course of the story and fall more and more for each other. They take a chance on love.

I love how Heidi writes these love stories with pure genuine emotion without the whole ‘sex sells’ thing going on. These stories don’t need that. You fall so deeply in love and captivated by the raw emotion of pure simple love. I love her writing; it’s like a breath of fresh air and separates her on a whole different plateau from the rest. I absolutely loved this story and couldn’t have been happier of how Shane and Greta came to be. I can’t wait to read the next addition to this series.
