I absolutely enjoyed and loved everything about this story and the narrators. It's been awhile since I read a book from this author and she is even more talented than what I remembered. The storyline was amazing. The characters were phenomenal. Sebastian York and Andi Arndt did such a great job bringing this story to life and still managing to capture and deliver the emotion perfectly.
I loved the whole dynamic between Channing and Amber. They had great chemistry, fun banter, emotional moments and an amazing friendship and understanding of each other. The whole Rory situation really did take me by surprise because I was not expecting the reasoning behind his actions. The narrators did a wonderful job capturing and conveying the emotions from all three characters,
I was so drawn to these characters. Amber, Rory and Channing's heartache was my heartache and it was a truly heart wrenching situation to go through. No matter what someone got hurt. Though as much as I wanted to just love them all and I did feel bad for what Rory went through but I just thought he was plain ol' stupid because he put himself in a position where he lost the love of a lifetime and he cheated his best friend early on the opportunity by being so shady.
Penelope Ward delivers a sexy yet heart gripping story that left me feeling so completely satisfied with the outcome. I'm really glad I choose to initially read this through audiobook first because the narrators really nailed it on this one for me. A great read and I highly recommend the audio version.
