Review: Maybe Not (Maybe #1.5) by Colleen Hoover

Colleen Hoover, the New York Times bestselling author of Maybe Someday brilliantly brings to life the story of the wonderfully hilarious and charismatic Warren in a new novella, Maybe Not.

When Warren has the opportunity to live with a female roommate, he instantly agrees. It could be an exciting change.

Or maybe not.

Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to love with that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory.

Will Bridgette find it in herself to warm her heart to Warren and finally learn to love?

Maybe.

Maybe not.

I’m a huge fan of Colleen Hoover so when she surprised us all with this novella of Warren’s story I was super excited. I loved Warren’s character in Maybe Someday. He was super funny and I loved how he ended up being such a good friend to Sydney. The pranks and banter between the roommates were hysterical.

This story is told in Warren’s POV, which I absolutely FLOVE! The relationship between Warren and Bridgette will without a doubt give you some type of whiplash. Bridgette is a tough cookie to crack and Warren is just relentless.

I read this in one sitting. I could not put it down. I was utterly consumed with Warren. He is hilarious and super sexy. Colleen Hoover never disappoints. Her characters are written to perfection and the story lines are brilliant. With each turn of the page I became more and more mesmerized by these witty, sassy, bitchy, sexy and funny characters.

An absolute fantastic surprise that had me laughing from beginning to end. With each book I become more of a fan of Colleen Hoover. Her creativity has no bounds and her ability to capture your rapt attention is astounding. Another great addition to my #Coho collection.
